چکیده

Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL) is a rare indolent mature B-cell lymphoma. LPL secreting immunoglobulins other than IgM are rare. There very few case series on non-IgM LPL, and little known about the clinical features outcomes of patients with this disease. We report 65-year-old-male who was referred to our hospital for further investigations persistent chronic anaemia diagnosed IgG-LPL based presence M protein from serum electrophoresis. Bone marrow morphology exhibit spectrum differentiation ranging small lymphocytes plasma cells. The patient underwent treatment combination bortezomib, dexamethasone rituximab showed positive response. paraprotein IgG disease has heterogeneous clinicopathological presentation limited literature reviews. Our review provide insights knowledge in description LPL.

Waldenstrom's macrogloblinemia/ lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma.

Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM) is a distinct clinicopathological entity resulting from the accumulation, predominantly in the bone marrow, of clonally related lymphocytes, lymphoplasmacytic cells and plasma cells which secrete a monoclonal IgM protein (Figure 1). This condition is considered to correspond to the lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL) as defined by the Revised European American ...

PRDM1 expression levels in marginal zone lymphoma and lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma

PRDM1 (BLIMP1) is a transcription repressor protein shown to be involved in B-cell differentiation into plasma cells. Marginal zone lymphomas (MZL) and lymphoplasmacytic lymphomas (LPL) are B cell lymphomas that both show some degree of plasmacytic differentiation and thus can sometimes constitute a difficult differential diagnosis. In this study, we investigated if MZL and LPL have abnormaliti...
